As governing body of ice hockey in Switzerland, Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (SIHF) manages the amateur and professional games in Switzerland. It includes national teams on junior and senior levels. SHIF was looking in 2016 for a digital strategy to optimize reach of all their content and increase revenue.

The main revenue is based on linear TV rights and classical off-line sponsoring packages. To ensure digital transformation and meet upcoming digital sponsoring needs, new digital business models shall be evaluated. New content strategies, like women hockey league, shall be evaluated.
